Principal Design Features

Butt-Weld Fittings are used in a wide range of industries requiring strong welded, liquid, gas and chemical transmission systems utilizing the minimum available space. Industries include marine, oil & gas, paper pulp, pharmaceuticals, rail, food & beverage to name a few.

Machinability for 6061-T6 is considered good.

Forming
Good.

Welding
6061-T6 is readily welded using common welding techniques.

Heat Treatment
6061-T6 is heat treatable.
